This is a very cool version of one of my favourite songs. Although I prefer the game/original version. Ellen (GLaDOS's VA) gives the song a different kind of.. charm, that I don't think can be replicated by someone else.

I saw him live and he played this song and it was the first time I listened to it all the way through. I don't regret going to that concert.

Oh man, picked up Some Guys album about a month ago and just now found the KS video. HA! Amazed at how close you got these songs! I mean, sure, I haven’t heard any of these since I was in middle school and switched from Q-105 Soft Rock to 98 ROCK for The Wall and Van Halen but I kept my Jim Croce and Best of Bread Vol. 1 & 2 albums for a couple more decades and the sound is right on! #SadManRock

Whenever I hear this song, kind of makes me think of the arch-rivalry of a certain mad scientist with ambitions of world conquest against a certain blue prickly speedster! In part of the lyrics, there is: 0:05 "even the suit has teeth" This part reminds me of how the ends of a mad scientist’s certain yellow cape look like walrus tusks (which, when combined with his large mustache, gives the illusion that he looks like a walrus). 0:57 "Devising a master plan" The mad scientist’s theme states he has a master plan (but then again, it could be said by any mad scientist) 0:26 "could it be that you need me, to keep you out, to run you faster." Feels like a reference to how the Blue Blur runs circles around this guy.
